Here are a few images from the July 2017 EAA AirVenture fly-in at Oshkosh. I shot digitally with a Fuji XT-1 and on film using the Fuji GW690iii 6×9 medium format camera using Fuji’s Provia and Kodak’s Ektar and Portra film. The images seen here are selects from the digital ones; I am not completely happy with my film results for OSH this year – a bit overexposed in general and not the best scans from the film processor I chose – maybe I will post some later if I can tweak them in post or after re-scanning them myself. After my disappointment with the commercial color film development/scanning results (from a major player in the business no less!) I bit the bullet and bought the overpriced Plustek OpticFilm 120 film scanner, so I will be processing my own C-41 and E-6 color film, along with my black and white film, and doing my own scanning for digital post-processing and inkjet printing, and silver printing black and white in the traditional darkroom.

Incredible frames, Mike. The P-80… definitely a stand-out. Great post.
Thank you for the kind words. …Mike
